Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Visits Defenders Near Heavily Contested Pokrovsk
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traveled to meet with national troops in the eastern front on the start of the week. The president confirmed that he met with fighters at the command post of the initial brigade of the state defense force Azov, which is managing protective maneuvers in the Dobropillya sector, an urban center approximately a short distance from the city.
Critical Situation in the Area
Recent mapping from a Ukrainian project indicated that Russian forces had advanced deeper into Pokrovsk and its environs, though a large portion was not fully held by both forces. The situation remains critical, with reports indicating that opposition troops were fortifying positions and strengthening posts in various sectors.
Invading troops are pushing forward in the Pokrovsk sector and seem to be functioning with enhanced confidence within Pokrovsk itself.
Military experts noted that national troops had freed a large area of a Russian penetration in the Dobropillya direction, on the eastern edge of the Pokrovsk campaign.
National Drone Strikes Inside Russian Territory
